eSauti Verify

Make the next step a verified one.

Confirm that a customer can access their phone number or email address. Your application requests a one-time code, eSauti delivers it by WhatsApp, SMS, or email, and you check the code your customer enters.

For teams adding phone or email verification to an application

A standalone verification API. No Marketing or personal WhatsApp sender setup required.

In your business

Build verification into the moments that matter.

Add a code challenge to your own application wherever you need to confirm access to a contact channel.

01

Confirm a new registration

Ask a new customer to enter the code sent to their phone or email before your application completes registration.

02

Check a new contact detail

Send a challenge to a proposed phone number or email address before your application saves the change.

03

Add a confirmation step

Request and check a code before your application proceeds with a sensitive action. Your application decides what a successful check allows.

Delivered is one event. Verified is another.

A message reaching a recipient does not mean they entered the right code. Verify keeps these outcomes separate so your application can act on the actual check result.

Read the API guide

Delivery status

Provider feedback tells you what happened to the message: it may be accepted, delivered, or fail. Use it to investigate sending problems.

Verification result

The check endpoint tells you whether the submitted code completed the challenge. An incorrect, expired, or exhausted challenge must not unlock the next step.

What you can do

A clear answer, with the context behind it.

Reach the chosen channel

Request WhatsApp, SMS, or email delivery through the same API. Choose English or French for the verification message.

Check the customer’s code

Submit the six-digit code with the verification ID. Get the verification result and the number of attempts remaining.

Keep challenges bounded

Codes expire after five minutes, with a maximum of five validation attempts. Recipient-level request limits control repeated requests.

Investigate delivery

Inspect provider delivery information and failures independently of whether the customer completed verification.

Understand completion

Review verification activity and channel trends over 7, 30, or 90 days to see where requests succeed or stop.

See usage and charges

Usage is billed through your wallet. Funds are reserved before dispatch, settled after provider acceptance, or released when sending fails.

Your questions, answered.

What does Verify actually verify?

It confirms that someone can provide a code sent to a phone number or email address. It does not establish a person’s legal identity or verify identity documents.

Do I need my own WhatsApp Business Account?

No. Verify uses eSauti’s shared sender setup. Your business display name must be approved, and Verify access and wallet funding are required.

Which channels and languages are available?

WhatsApp, SMS, and email, in English and French.

When is a verification send charged?

Funds are reserved before dispatch and settled after provider acceptance. A customer entering the code is a separate event; billing is not based on successful verification alone.
